Lauren Management At one time owned, operated and managed 8 apartment buildings in the lakes area of Minneapolis and the Lowry Hill area from 1978-2019.
I first developed this site back in 2005. Designed and built with WordPress. I designed and developed every aspect of this site. I am responsible for server side management as well and we have a payment system using stripe and a SSL with Geotrust.
I also have a full online application system installed where LMC can take in a applicant and fee and deposit and finish the process with just a lease signing.
I use a form system for maintenance and polls and surveys and can extract PDF’s for print and more.
I use a system for sms messages to maintenance staff where a tenant fills out a request and it is imm sent to the phone via text.
This site has been completely redesigned with up to date code and mobile first tech and accessibility for all! New high speed host new development and credit card payments online and more!
New design
I used the Genesis framework for this new site and went for a different font for a more polished look. I used a color scheme and cinematic frame to feature a solid foundation in rental homes and pictures.
The Genesis framework is a SEO powerhouse and is very light weight. You will see many top sites using it such has NASA and others.. My design here is a very mobile friendly code. All screens are well represented. Pads phones etc.
I also use a full suite of assessable features for any disabled or challenged individuals who happen to surf this site.
This software allows me to do a lot of heavy lifting in regard to code without near as much time involved.. Its almost future proof as it is updated via the internet and I own the rights and can alter it anyway I or the client would want.
The design is a series of modules called widgets that enable almost anyone to change content site wide.
This entire site is my design and idea of something that can be used for years and handed off to anyone to manage, client or new web person.
I can explain more in person when you contact me for a interview, however the goal is to create something that can be transformed and managed for years without falling out of the trend in code base and design.
