Invite by Voice was built and designed using at that time the new or newer Magento e-commerece platform/CMS. This was done back in 2009 thru 2010 or so.
Invite by voice was a company that had a fun way to offer primarily wedding and other big event invitations. A live in card recording. Now its quite ubiquitous across many gift card types as you may know.
The companies chip was very well designed and fit nicely. There was some success here in sales. I moved on but they went on and I think sold the underlying technology to a third party or sold the recording devices direct with out the card placement. I can not remember which.
I did a lot here design, development, maintenance, troubleshooting. I am looking for my notes and I will add more details if I find them.
Magento is/was the best shopping cart CMS for a long time.
I found the template structure pretty complicated. Digging or drilling down thru folders to add your design in the form of CSS and HTML and than go back up to the admin well not exactly time friendly. Its not hard to understand Magento, it just was at that time hard to get simple tasks done fast.
Now days Magento is enterprise eCommerce in scope and usually only the largest online stores need to go with this monster. It runs better and is I heard easier to work on but really it is expensive to have a decent Magento instal.
You really need the full license version and its good to have some support direct from Magento which is not cheap. Smaller online stores now use Woo commerce a WordPress solution and is very popular.
